Espey Gets $29.5 Million Contract for Columbia Class Submarines Support

04:24 PM EST, 12/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Espey Mfg. & Electronics ( ESP ) said Monday it has been awarded a $29.5 million contract, when fully funded, to provide electric power distribution panels for the US Navy's Columbia class submarines.

Espey said it was picked by General Dynamics Electric Boat and the US Navy to manufacture components it has designed for the next-generation ballistic missile submarine fleet.

Deliveries are expected through 2030 for the next four of 12 planned ships, it said.
