06:42 AM EST, 12/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- European Wax Center ( EWCZ ) said Wednesday that it has appointed Chris Morris as chief executive officer and chairman of the board, effective Jan. 8.

Morris was most recently CEO of Dave & Buster's (PLAY). He succeeds David Berg, who will step down as CEO but remain on the board, the company said.

European Wax also said it reaffirms its fiscal 2024 outlook, which it issued Nov. 14.
