Euroseas Secures Charter Extensions for Two Feeder Containerships

02:55 PM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Euroseas ( ESEA ) said Monday it secured time charter extensions for two of its 2,556 twenty-foot equivalent unit, or TEU, feeder containerships.

The EM Corfu will be chartered for 18 months to 20 months at $28,000 per day, while Evridiki G will be fixed for 14 months to 16 months at $29,500 per day, the company said.

Euroseas ( ESEA ) said both vessels will begin their new charters once their current contracts end, expected around mid-February 2025 for EM Corfu and early February 2025 for Evridiki G.

Shares of Euroseas ( ESEA ) were down more than 4% in recent trading.
