05:34 PM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Exodus Movement ( EXOD ) said late Monday it agreed to acquire W3C, the parent of Monvate and Baanx.com, for $175 million.
The deal will allow Exodus to integrate card-issuing and compliance infrastructure into its self-custodial crypto wallet.
Once completed, Exodus said it will support blockchain-based payments, allowing users to spend digital assets directly while keeping full control of their accounts. The company said it will be able to issue payment cards via Visa (V), Mastercard (MA) and Discover, bridging crypto balances with everyday purchases across the US, UK and EU.
Exodus said that the acquisition will enhance enterprise payment services, including support for customers transacting on XO Swap. The deal remains subject to regulatory approval.
Exodus shares fell 1.8% in after-hours trading.
