08:35 AM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fifth Third Bancorp ( FITB ) said Tuesday it has expanded its retail presence into Alabama with the opening of a financial center in Huntsville.

The new location marks the first of 15 financial centers planned across the state in the next three years, consisting of 10 in Huntsville and five in Birmingham, the bank said.

Fifth Third said it plans to open 200 new retail locations by 2028, mainly in fast-growing Southeast markets.
