Firefly Aerospace's Alpha Flight 7 Rocket Blows Up During Launch; Shares Drop Pre-Bell

07:39 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Firefly Aerospace ( FLY ) said Monday that its Alpha Flight 7 rocket "experienced an event that resulted in a loss of the stage."

The company said it followed safety protocols and that no employees were hurt. It also said it is looking into the impact of its stage test stand and that no other facilities were affected.

"We will share more information on the path forward at a later date," the company said.

Shares of Firefly Aerospace ( FLY ) dropped over 11% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.
