Fireweed Metals Provides Update on Mactung Tungsten Project
Nov 24, 2025 3:35 AM

06:24 AM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fireweed Metals ( FWEDF ) , which rose 2.7% on Friday, provided on Monday an update on its Mactung tungsten project in Yukon, Canada.

The company has completed an 11,117-meter multi-purpose drill program at the project. Information from the program will be included in an upcoming feasibility study, which is scheduled to commence before the end of 2025.

Fireweed noted high tungsten grades across significant true widths, with highlights that include 12 meters of 6.21% tungsten trioxide, 29 meters of 2.56% tungsten trioxide, 16 meters of 4.53% tungsten trioxide, and 15 meters of 2.16% tungsten trioxide. These confirm the high-grade nature and scale of the deposit.

The company initiated a mineral resource update targeting resource conversion from inferred to indicated, a key component of the feasibility study.

Environmental baseline studies are also being undertaken in support of future mine licensing.
