Fireweed Reports Intersections in Boundary Zone at Macpass Project in Yukon
Oct 30, 2024 6:12 AM

08:40 AM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fireweed Metals ( FWEDF ) on Wednesday reported results of an additional nine drill holes from the Boundary Zone as part of the 2024 drill campaign at its Macpass project in Yukon.

Results include 31 meters of 8.68% zinc, 3.68% lead and 87.4 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, including 15 meters of 13.15% zinc, 6.35% lead and 139.9 g/t silver.

"Boundary zone continues to grow, delivering high-grade step-out intersections outside of the recently announced Mineral Resource of stratiform sulphide mineralization, along with notable vein and replacement mineralization," President and CEO Peter Hemstead said. "These results show great potential for a material increase in the high-grade tonnage at Boundary Zone."

Fireweed said it has released 17 of 49 holes drilled in 2024, and is awaiting results for the remaining holes.
