First Financial Shares Higher After Q3 Results

02:10 PM EDT, 10/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- First Financial (THFF) shares were about 0.7% higher in recent Tuesday trading following its Q3 results.

The bank holding company reported Q3 earnings of $0.74 per diluted share, down from $1.37 a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.91.

Revenue, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $58.4 million, up from $52.8 million a year ago. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $58.7 million.

"The quarter was impacted by purchase accounting adjustments and charges, which are reflected in the results," the company said.
