08:36 AM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Nordic Metals ( FNMCF ) reported Monday the results from its recently completed regional geochemistry exploration program on the Storjuktan project in Sweden.
The company said it identified four new orogenic gold pathfinder anomalies, all multi-kilometric in scale and consistent with orogenic gold signatures on the Gold Line belt.
First Nordic said the new targets add to the pipeline at Storjuktan, where the most advanced target is Nippas, a 5-kilometer gold and pathfinder anomaly discovered last year.
"What is noteworthy is that only half of the Storjuktan project area has been sampled and we already have five large-scale targets to advance towards drilling," CEO Taj Singh said.
Based on the results, the company said it will prioritize these new targets for follow up drilling in 2025.
First Nordic's share price rose 3.6% last Friday to near 52-week highs of $0.43 on the TSXV.
