03:52 PM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Foran Mining ( FMCXF ) said Thursday afternoon is evacuating non-essential workers from its McIlvenna Bay Project site in Saskatchewan due to a regional wildfire evacuation order.

The company added that the process is expected to be completed by the end of the day, and the move is a precaution, carried out in coordination with local emergency and fire officials.

All workers are safe and accounted for. A small team will remain on-site to maintain safety and security. Foran plans to resume full construction activities as soon as it is safe to do so, the company said.

Foran shares were last seen down $0.03 to $3.03 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
