07:33 AM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Foran Mining ( FMCXF ) on Thursday provided a construction progress update for its McIlvenna Bay project in Saskatchewan, saying commercial production is expected in the first half of 2026.

As of Sept. 30, detailed engineering was about 78% complete, while early activities including the mill foundation, process and paste plant buildings, sewage and potable water treatment plants, roads, ponds, berms, and truck shop are 97% complete. Surface construction is 14% complete, with the overall schedule tracking as planned.

Foran's share price rose 1.4% yesterday to close at $4.42 on the TSX.
