Fresenius Signs Agreements With Wind, Solar Energy Project Developers in US, Germany

09:09 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fresenius Medical Care ( FMS ) said Wednesday it has signed five virtual power purchase agreements in the US and Germany with wind and solar energy project developers.

The projects are anticipated to feed roughly 580-gigawatt hours of renewable energy into the grid as the company intends to cut its carbon emissions in its operations by 50% through 2030, Fresenius added.

Financial terms of the projects weren't disclosed.
