10:20 AM EDT, 06/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- FTAI Aviation ( FTAI ) and IAE International Aero Engines AG said Thursday they have signed a five-year maintenance agreement for V2500 engines, which includes more than 100 full-performance restoration shop visits.

IAE is a collaboration that includes RTX's (RTX) Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International, Japanese Aero Engines, and MTU Aero Engines AG, according to the companies.

FTAI Aviation ( FTAI ), which owns 140 V2500 engines, plans to grow its V2500 engine portfolio to 200 by 2025.

Financial terms were not provided.
