FTAI Aviation Says Short Seller Claims 'Without Merit;' Shares Rise

10:08 AM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- FTAI Aviation ( FTAI ) shares climbed by more than 17% in recent trading after the company said the audit committee of its board has completed a review and determined that claims made by short seller reports in January were "without merit."

Paul Goodwin, chair of the audit committee, said in a statement that "the assertions made in the short seller reports are unsupported and have no merit."

The company said it expects to file its 10-K report on a timely basis and to report Q4 and full-year 2024 financial results on Feb. 26.
