11:43 AM EST, 01/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Garmin ( GRMN ) expanded the availability of its ECG App to customers in Australia and the EU with compatible smartwatches, including the Venu 3 Series and fenix 8 Series.

The electrocardiogram app enables users to monitor their heart rhythm and detect potential signs of atrial fibrillation, the company said Wednesday in a statement.

The ECG App requires the latest version of Garmin Connect and smartwatch software.

Garmin ( GRMN ) plans to expand its portfolio of products supporting the ECG App and offer the app in new regions, pending regulatory approvals.
