Garmin Launches Satellite Communication Device With Photo, Voice Messaging Features

11:25 AM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Garmin ( GRMN ) launched inReach Messenger Plus, a satellite communicator with photo and voice messaging in addition to global two-way texting, location sharing and distress signaling.

InReach Messenger Plus works as a standalone or paired to the Garmin Messenger mobile app on a compatible smartphone, the company said Wednesday in a statement.

InReach Messenger Plus has a suggested retail price of $499.99, and monthly satellite subscription plans are as low as $14.99, the company said.
