August 14 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Thursday:

** Japanese components maker Minebea Mitsumi ( MNBEF ) has

decided to raise its tender offer price for thermistor maker

Shibaura Electronics to 6,200 yen ($42.31) from 5,500

yen ($37.53), the companies said.

** Australia's Ampol ( CTXAF ) said it would buy British fuel

station operator EG Group's local unit, EG Australia, for a

total of A$1.1 billion ($718.85 million) in a bid to strengthen

its retail portfolio in the country.

** British Gas owner Centrica ( CPYYF ) will jointly buy National

Grid's Grain LNG terminal with U.S.-based infrastructure

investor Energy Capital Partners (ECP), it said , for an

enterprise value of about 1.5 billion pounds ($2.04 billion).

** British student accommodation developer Unite Group ( UTGPF )

has agreed to acquire Empiric Student Property ( EPCFF )

in a cash-and-stock deal valuing the smaller peer at 634 million

pounds ($860.59 million), the companies said.
