10:22 AM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Uber ( UBER ) is expanding its New York city office, which is now the largest after the company's San Francisco headquarters, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

The move reflects the city's growing importance to Uber's ( UBER ) operations since the company's Chief Executive Dara Khosrowshahi moved there in 2024, the report said.

An Uber ( UBER ) spokesperson told Bloomberg that to accommodate its local workforce, which has increased to over 2,000 employees from 800 before the pandemic, the company is boosting its footprint in 3 World Trade Center to 11 floors.

The company has also been renting office suites in a co-working space in the same building, the report said.

Uber ( UBER ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
