08:00 AM EDT, 04/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GE Aerospace (GE) said it will begin trading this Tuesday under the ticker symbol "GE" following the completion of the spin-off of its energy business GE Vernova (GEV).

Holders of GE common stock were entitled to receive one GE Vernova common share for every four shares of GE common stock held.

The spin-off, part of a plan envisioned three years ago by Chief Executive H. Lawrence Culp, follows the 2023 spin-off of GE Healthcare Technologies ( GEHC ) .
