12:20 PM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GE Aerospace (GE) said Monday it received an order for its GEnx-1B engines from Japan Airlines to power the new 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft that the airline has ordered from Boeing ( BA ) .

Japan Airlines entered into an agreement with Boeing ( BA ) to buy 10 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with options for 10 more, the aircraft manufacturer said Monday.

Financial terms of the deal between GE Aerospace and Japan Airlines weren't disclosed.
