GE HealthCare, Amazon Web Services Collaborate to Develop Generative AI Applications for Clinicians

11:01 AM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GE HealthCare Technologies ( GEHC ) and Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services said Thursday that they have partnered to create foundation models and generative artificial intelligence applications for clinicians to enhance medical diagnostics and patient care.

Financial terms of the collaboration weren't disclosed.

GE HealthCare ( GEHC ) selected AWS as its key cloud service provider and plans to use Amazon Bedrock service to develop and deploy custom generative AI applications, the companies said.

Additionally, GE HealthCare ( GEHC ) intends to use Amazon Q Developer and Amazon Q Business for software development and exploring multi-modal clinical and operational data, the companies added.
