GE Healthcare Completes Acquisition of Remaining 50% Stake in Nihon Medi-Physics

03:38 AM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GE Healthcare Technologies ( GEHC ) said Monday it completed the acquisition of the remaining 50% stake it doesn't own in Japanese radiopharmaceutical company Nihon Medi-Physics from Sumitomo Chemical.

As part of the deal, Kevin O'Neill, the chief executive of GE Healthcare's ( GEHC ) pharmaceutical diagnostics segment, will become president of Nihon Medi-Physics.

The company expects the transaction, which was disclosed in December, to be neutral to adjusted earnings per share in year one and accretive afterwards.
