08:53 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- General Dynamics ( GD ) and Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) shareholders were urged by JLens, sponsor of JLens 500 Jewish Advocacy US ETF, and the Anti-Defamation League to reject shareholder proposals to audit the human rights impact of their weapons sales.
JLens said that both a proposal submitted for General Dynamics ( GD ) shareholders to vote on at a May 7 meeting calling for a Human Rights Impact Assessment and another submitted to Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) to assess the "alignment of its political activities with its human rights policy" on May 9 "were designed to pressure the companies into severing ties with Israel."
Both companies are JLens 500 portfolio companies, JLens said.
The boards of both General Dynamics ( GD ) and Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) have urged shareholders to vote against the proposals, JLens said.
