General Dynamics Unit Gets $492 Million Contract by Space Development Agency

05:45 PM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- General Dynamics' ( GD ) Missions Systems unit said Wednesday it was awarded a $491.6 million contract by the Space Development Agency to design, analysis, and support the Ground Management and Integration program's ground system.

The aerospace and defense company will collaborate with the SDA and key stakeholders to create a Tranche-agnostic ground system for SDA's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture and handle enterprise integration for the Tranche 2 constellation.

General Dynamics ( GD ) and Iridium Communications ( IRDM ) will manage the development, integration, testing, and maintenance of ground systems and infrastructure, the company said.
