GEO Group Court Settlement Restores Full Capacity at California ICE Processing Center

11:06 AM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GEO Group ( GEO ) said a US District Court approved a settlement allowing full capacity at the company's Adelanto, California, facility, a processing center for the US government's Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The court had issued several injunction orders, including a limit restricting the use of the 1,940-bed center during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said Tuesday in a statement.

The processing center at full occupancy is expected generate up to $31 million in additional annual revenue, the company said.

GEO Group ( GEO ) entered a 15-year processing center contract with ICE in 2019, comprising a five-year base period followed by two five-year option periods. The current option period ends in December 2029, the company said.
