Gilat Satellite Networks Unit Awarded US Army Contract Worth Up to $70 Million

07:38 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) said Wednesday that its Gilat DataPath unit has been awarded a contract worth up to $70 million to provide field and technical services in support of the US Army through a prime contractor.

The award includes a base program of more than $7 million with options to extend the program up to five years, reaching an estimated revenue of $70 million, the company said.

Under the award, Gilat DataPath will deliver field and support services to the army's program executive office for command, control and communications networks, the company said.

Shares of the Israeli defense contractor were up 1.6% in recent premarket activity.
