12:31 PM EDT, 04/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ginkgo Bioworks ( DNA ) and Prozomix said Wednesday that they are collaborating to build out the production of next generation enzyme plates for active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing.

The partnership combines Ginkgo's artificial intelligence models and enzyme engineering expertise with Prozomix's enzyme sequence data to create enzymes for API manufacturing, the companies said.

The stock was up more than 2% in recent trading.
