GoDaddy Q1 Net Income, Revenue Increase; 2024 Sales Outlook Narrowed -- Shares Rise After Hours

05:13 PM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GoDaddy ( GDDY ) reported Q1 earnings late Thursday of $2.76 per diluted share, up from $0.30 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.96.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 rose to $1.11 billion from $1.04 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.10 billion.

For Q2, the company expects revenue of $1.10 billion to $1.12 billion. The consensus is for $1.11 billion.

For 2024, GoDaddy ( GDDY ) said it now expects revenue of $4.50 billion to $4.56 billion, compared with its prior range of $4.48 billion to $4.56 billion. Analysts are looking for $4.52 billion.

The company's shares were up nearly 2% in after-hours activity.
