Golar Closes $575 Million Convertible Notes Offering, Repurchases Common Shares

06:52 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Golar LNG (GLNG) said Tuesday it closed its previously announced offering of $575 million of 2.75% Convertible Senior Notes due 2030, in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers.

The offering included $75 million in additional notes sold under a 30-day option period.

In connection with the offering, the company said a portion of the proceeds was used to repurchase 2.5 million common shares, with the remainder to be used for general corporate purposes.
