March 4 (Reuters) - Liz Martin, chief operating officer
of engineering at Goldman Sachs ( GS ) global banking and
markets business, is set to leave the Wall Street giant after 25
years at the firm, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters
on Tuesday.
She joined the investment bank in 2000 as an analyst and
became a managing director in 2009. Throughout her time at
Goldman Sachs ( GS ), Martin held leadership roles across the world,
mainly within the bank's markets business.
Martin, who became a partner at Goldman Sachs ( GS ) in 2016, is
talking to hedge funds, asset managers and fintechs about her
next role, according to a person familiar with the matter.
She was the global head of electronic trading and European
equities execution at Goldman Sachs ( GS ) until 2022.
