09:34 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud and Dagang NeXchange Berhad said Monday that they have signed a multi-year deal to offer sovereign cloud services in Malaysia.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the terms, Dagang NeXchange will operate Google Distributed Cloud, or GDC, as a managed provider in the country to provide deployment options for GDC air-gapped on-premises or within partner data centers, the companies said.

Dagang will also offer Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform to organizations in certain sectors.
