01:37 PM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG) Google ( GOOG ) announced Tuesday it is making available a new version of its search engine that includes artificial intelligence-powered responses to users in the US this week.

The new iteration, which Google ( GOOG ) calls AI Overviews, will be made available to users in other countries "soon," Chief Executive Sundar Pichai said at the company's annual Google I/O developers summit.
