Gran Tierra Energy Closes al $150-Million Private Placement of 9.5% Senior Secured Amortizing Notes

05:30 PM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gran Tierra Energy ( GTE ) Wednesday on Wednesday said it closed a $150-million private placement of 9.5% Senior Secured Amortizing Notes due 2029.

Gran Tierra previously previously issued US$587.59 million of the note series.

The notes have the same terms and provisions as the Original Notes, except for the issue date and the issue price, and form the same series as the original notes, including with respect to interest payments.

Gran Tierra intends to use proceeds from the offering to finance the cash portion of the consideration payable for the planned acquisition of i3 Energy.
