07:21 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mosaic (MOS) said Wednesday it has opened a new $84 million blending, storage and distribution plant in Palmeirante, Brazil.

The facility can process 1 million tonnes of fertilizer per year and about 500,000 tonnes in 2025.

The company said the project is expected to earn a margin of $30 to $40 per tonne, generating a projected internal rate of return above 20%.
