Granite Construction Gets $113 Million Contract to Construct New Facilities for US Marines

10:18 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction ( GVA ) said Tuesday it has won a roughly $113 million contract from the US Department of Defense's Military Construction to develop new facilities at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz.

The firm, under its partnership with Obayashi, will construct low-rise facilities for the Marine Expeditionary Force 9th Engineer Support Battalion, it said.

The project is slated to start next month and be completed in January 2027, the company added.
