The project, funded by UDOT and federal sources, will appear in Granite's Q2 committed and awarded projects. Work includes rubblizing existing Portland Cement Concrete Pavement and overlaying with 175,000 tons of highly modified hot mix asphalt.
The scope also features structural deck replacements on 22 bridges, 22,000 linear feet of storm drain installation, and ramp metering installation at California Avenue, the company said, adding that Granite's Walker Hot Plant will supply asphalt materials for the job.
Construction is slated to begin in August this year and wrap up by November 2026, the company said.
