Gray Media Says TV Stations Dropped by Dish Network Following Negotiation Dispute
Mar 11, 2026 11:28 AM

01:58 PM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gray Media ( GTN ) said Wednesday its television stations have been dropped by EchoStar ( SATS ) subsidiary Dish Network after the companies failed to renegotiate their distribution agreement.

Dish dropped TV stations after proposing a materially adverse provision in the deal and violates Dish's federal statutory obligation to negotiate retransmission in good faith, Gray Media ( GTN ) said.

Gray said it is ready to finalize an agreement with Dish without the unprecedented provision. If the dispute is not immediately resolved, Gray said it will enforce its rights against Dish's negotiating conduct and seek restitution for damages from Dish's breaches of the just-expired distribution agreement.
