05:20 PM EST, 11/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Grey Wolf Animal Health (WOLF.V) after close on Thursday said its third-quarter profit rose 78% despite a smaller rise in revenue.
The veterinary-products company said it earned $0.5 million, or $0.02 per share, in the period, up from $0.28 million, or $0.01, in the year-prior quarter.
Revenue rose 5.7% to $6.9 million from $6.53 million.
"Q3 2024 was another solid quarter for both revenue ," said chief executive Angela Cechetto. " ... Our growth came from both the Animal Health and Pharmacy businesses, which had increased revenue of 5.5% to $3.1 million and 5.9% to $3.8 million, respectively."
The company's shares closed up $0.01 to $0.89 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
