Hamilton Beach Brands Names R. Scott Tidey CEO as Gregory Trepp Retires by Year-End

05:15 PM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hamilton Beach Brands Holding ( HBB ) said late Tuesday that Chief Executive Gregory Trepp will retire on Dec. 31.

R. Scott Tidey will take over as CEO, in addition to his current role as president, effective Oct. 1, the company said.

Trepp will step down as CEO and a board member, effective Sept. 30, to facilitate the company's succession plan. He will serve as an adviser to the CEO until his retirement to support a smooth transition, the company said.
