Hecla Mining Says US Forest Service Finds no 'Significant Impact' for Libby Exploration Project in Montana

05:47 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hecla Mining ( HL ) said late Monday it received the final decision notice from the US Forest Service, which found no "significant impact" for the company's copper-silver Libby exploration project in Montana.

The regulator's decision supports Hecla's exploration of copper and silver deposit in Libby, Montana, the silver production company said.
