Helix Energy Solutions Unit Wins Trenching Services Contract Offshore UK

03:43 AM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Helix Energy Solutions Group ( HLX ) said late Wednesday its Helix Robotics Solutions subsidiary won a contract from Seaway7 for the burial of inter-array cables for Orsted's Hornsea 3 offshore windfarm project located off the UK's Norfolk coast.

The project scope includes the burial of cables totaling about 500 kilometers in length, the company said.

The contract is anticipated to begin in Q3 2026 and is expected to last over 300 days.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
