Helmerich & Payne Fiscal Q2 Earnings, Revenue Decline; Shares Drop Pre-Bell

04:37 AM EDT, 04/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Helmerich & Payne (HP) reported fiscal Q2 earnings late Wednesday of $0.84 per diluted share, down from $1.55 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.85.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $687.9 million, down from $769.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $684.3 million.

Shares of the company were down more than 2% in Thursday premarket activity.
