04:32 PM EST, 01/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hershey (HSY) said late Friday that Michele Buck, its chairman, president and chief executive, plans to retire from the company on June 30, 2026.
Buck will continue in her current roles until a successor is named, after which she will serve as a senior adviser until her retirement, the company said.
Hershey said its board has established a special committee to search for the next CEO, evaluating both external and internal candidates.
Hershey reaffirmed its previously announced 2024 financial outlook and plans to provide its 2025 outlook during its earnings release in February, the company said.
In November, the company said it was expecting 2024 net sales growth to be flat and adjusted earnings per share growth to be down mid-single-digits.
