08:29 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hertz Global ( HTZ ) said Wednesday it formed a collaboration with Amazon ( AMZN ) Autos under which thousands of pre-owned Hertz vehicles will be available to buy on Amazon's ( AMZN ) car-buying platform.

Customers can browse, finance, and purchase cars online, with the partnership initially rolling out in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle. There are plans to expand the partnership to Hertz Car Sales' 45 locations nationwide, the company said.

Amazon Autos added used and certified pre-owned vehicles to its offerings earlier in August starting in Los Angeles, Amazon ( AMZN ) said previously.

Shares of Hertz were up 8.9% while shares of used car retailer Carvana ( CVNA ) were down 3% in recent premarket activity.
