01:46 PM EDT, 07/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hertz Energy ( HZLIF ) said Wednesday it relinquished its option to buy the Patriota Lithium Project located in Brazil following the termination of the option assignment agreement.

The agreement was between the company, Brascan Resources Inc., BHBC Exploracao Mineral LTDA, and RTB Geologia e Mineracao LTDA.

The company said it has no further obligation under the assignment agreement.

The company's shares were last seen down $0.01 to $0.10 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
