11:55 AM EST, 01/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hesai ( HSAI ) said Monday it plans to double its annual production capacity in 2026 to over four million units from two million units, aided by higher demand for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems or ADAS and robotics lidar.

The company added that operations at its newly announced factory in Bangkok, Thailand are expected to begin in early 2027.

Separately, Hesai ( HSAI ) said it has entered into a partnership with South Korea-based Motion-artificial intelligence startup MOVIN to supply advanced lidar solutions.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
