Hewlett Packard Enterprise Reportedly Decides to Continue Legal Proceedings Against Mike Lynch
Sep 3, 2024 4:27 AM

07:04 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) has decided to continue legal measures for seeking up to $4 billion in damages from British billionaire Mike Lynch's estate in the UK, multiple media outlets reported Monday, citing a company statement.

The firm is seeking compensation over its takeover of British tech firm Autonomy and alleged Lynch inflated Autonomy's value, Reuters reported.

Lynch died in August when his yacht drowned off the Sicily coast.

"It is HPE's intention to follow the proceedings through to their conclusion," the outlets quoted HP as saying in an emailed statement.

Hewlett Packard ( HPE ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
