05:45 PM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Horizon Bancorp ( HBNC ) said late Monday that it appointed John Stewart as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Stewart, who has 22 years of financial services experience at regional banks, global investment banks, and institutional asset management firms, will take over as CFO on May 20, the company said.

Stewart succeeds Mark Secor, the CFO for the past 16 years. Secor will remain with the company, taking on the new role of chief administration officer.
