08:52 AM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- International Business Machines ( IBM ) said Wednesday that it has extended its partnership with Tokyo Electron to research and develop advanced semiconductor technologies for another five years.

The company said the new agreement will focus on progressing technology for semiconductor nodes and architectures designed for generative artificial intelligence.

Shares of IBM ( IBM ) were down 1% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
